Welcome to my blog. I’m Max Alvarez. I’m from Buenos Aires in Argentina. I’m an extremely curious lifelong learner. Click on the link and you’ll find out more about me.

My first place in cyberspace is @ the chalkface in a digital age on Blogger. It was the first visible part of my continuing professional development (CPD) e-portfolio and it is steadily evolving into something more complex, comprehensive and enriching: my personal learning network (PLN).

Now, this second blog on WordPress is a kind of sister blog in which I’ll be putting ideas into practice. So, here you’ll find mainly activities and reflective pieces of writing on those activities in which there’s an attempt to make a relevant contribution to my PLN and that of others as I’m developing my own voice and persona in the blogosphere. In this on-going collaborative process, I’ll be helped by those who interact with me by writing comments on my posts, sending me tweets, and so on.

At the same time, I’ll be helping others in their learning process by interacting with them. So basically, the entries and comments posted here might set off some ideas in you and help you improve your own PLN. You’ll also find some of the resources I once developed and used. In other words, these are the kind of resources you’ll find on this blog.

As you can easily notice, these resources reflect the informal nature of the kind of learning that takes place here. Thus, there’s no need for formalities. As long as you’re respectful, you’re invited to post your comments. If you click on the-subscribe-by-email link, I’ll reply to your comments.

Hope we enjoy this experience together.
